Weekly Collection Plate & Donation Envelopes

(St. Perpetua Church is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization; Tax ID. 94-2627188)

Traditionally, churches have been supported by donations made weekly in the collection basket passed during Mass. While today, many parishioners find it more convenient to give in other ways such as monthly electronic giving, the collection plate still represents the majority of donations received by your church.

St. Perpetua keeps a record of gifts received and provides a year-end acknowledgement to each parishioner for their records.  If you itemize deductions on your income tax returns, your contributions may be tax deductible.  In order for St. Perpetua to acknowledge your contributions, we must have some way to track your donations. If you donate cash, be sure to use the pre-printed donation envelopes mailed to each registered parishioner. If you donate by check and have registered with the Parish, we will use the name and address on your check to credit your donation, though using donation envelopes with check donations is recommended.

If you are new to the St. Perpetua community, please be sure to register with the Parish so you will be included in Parish communication, including receiving pre-printed donation envelopes. Registration is easy, it only requires you to tell us a bit about you and your family. You can register in person by visiting the church office during business hours, by completing a printed form and mailing it to the office, or completing an on-line form. We’d love to welcome you to our community. Please call us at (925)283-0272 or send an e-mail to office@stperpetua.org to receive a visit from a member of the Welcoming Committee.

If you have moved or there are other changes to your previous registration, please submit a new registration form to update your records.
