Matching Gifts

Some Parish family members may be employees or former employees of companies that have a matching gifts program. A matching gift program may allow a donor to double the size of his/her gift through employer contributions.

Recent matches in the Oakland Diocese have come from PG&E, Chevron, Microsoft, Union Pacific Fund for Effective Government, Cardinal Health, General Atomics, Qualcomm, Sempra Global, United Way, Sanafi and REI. Not all matching gift programs match gifts to religious institutions, but you might find that the parish school or some Parish programs or related charities may qualify. It never hurts to ask.

Simply contact the personnel office at your company for information regarding qualifying not-for-profit agencies and the appropriate form(s). St. Perpetua is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Tax ID: 94-2627188. You will need this information to complete the donor portion of your employer's form.
