Welcome to a new year of faith formation at St. Perpetua! We are thrilled to start the year off and hope you will become part of, or continue with faith formation for your child. Our programs are available for children and teens from 1st grade through High School.
In his last words to the apostles, Jesus gave them a mission: “ Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” (Mt 28:19-20) Through faith formation we continue the mission Jesus gave to the apostles.
At St. Perpetua, we share the good news of Jesus in our liturgical celebrations and in our catechesis. Catechesis - teaching of the faith - continues as an essential work of the Church and an essential part in our parish life. Beginning in the home and lived through parish life, our faith formation programs underscore the faith experience of the liturgy, sacraments, words and works. St. Perpetua’s Faith Formation programs presents an abundance of opportunities for all parishioners to grow closer to God and deepen their spiritual lives as individuals and as a community of faith.
With almost 500 students, St. Perpetua’s Faith Formation program is an active and vital part of our parish life. Thank you again for your interest in our programs and for the partnership we have with you in your child’s faith formation.
